Beautiful shade on brown hair!

I've been a long time user of Clairol's Perfect 10 in 6WN Light Chocolate Brown, but it is so hard to find in stores (I've only found it at the Ulta store 30 miles away) ...so thought I would try this one. I love it! I colored my hair yesterday and I love the result! I was a little nervous while it was processing because it looked very 'carrot-orange' but the final result on my medium brown hair is lovely. It seems to have colored those grays very well! I think the longer processing time might be the key, plus at the low price, I bought two boxes to use on my longer hair. My hair actually feels a little better after using the Perfect 10 product and it leaves much less staining on the skin at my hairline, but I'm happier with this Nice N Easy coloring result, gray coverage, and the price (combined with the fact that I don't have to drive to the Ulta store to find it ) makes this one a winner!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Shade was perfect, easy to use

I think I tried nice'neasy a couple of times, years ago. I've colored my hair for many years, and usually get either L'Oreal or Garnier products. This shade has come out truer than any others I've tried and so far am very happy with it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice and Easy is better then Preference.

There is more shine to my hair after using it. It's an alright product for how little it costs. However, the last 2 times I purchased it, I got the CC+ conditioner with it in a brown tube. NO, NO, NO! This is very bad. The conditioner in the blue tube is really nice and I would buy it separately if it was sold that way. The other tube does not condition well at all. I say get rid of it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Impressed for a home color!

I got my hair colored a light-medium brown at a salon. $120 later, there were still grays showing and I felt the color was a tad dull, so I took a chance with this product. I read several reviews that the color ends up darker than what is on the box, and it historically has for me, so I bought the Natural Dark Neutral Blonde (7). Oddly, the color is exactly as represented on the box, it isn't brassy, and, the biggest shock to me, I really do appear to have highlights. I'm not sure, however, whether I like the color on me, so next time I may mix it with a light neutral/ash brown (I need 2 boxes anyway, I have a lot of hair). The only negatives are that it was drying on my hair, but it's nothing I didn't expect, and I can still see some grays poking out, but all in all I am happy with this product and will use again in the future.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love the conditioner!

This is the fourth brand I have tried and it is the one I will use from now on. I bought it at CVS and the cost worked out to $3.00 a bottle. I bought 2. Clairol stays right where you put it though I was sloppy due to the other brands being very easy to wipe off from my skin, this was not. I will be much more careful next time in 6 or 8 weeks. The color is great and the conditioner is plentiful though I have short hair. I used about half. My hair feels great! Really smooth and shiny! I know friends will comment and I will absolutely recommend this! Just remember to put it where you want it and nowhere else! Thanks Clairol!

nothing like the colour on the box.

I knew something was up as soon as it started developing, brown doesn't usually turn blue black while developing, I have dyed my hair lots of times in the the past, but hadn't in years and didn't want anything drastic just a couple of shades darker and richer than my natural hair colour, after 20 mins of developing I decided to rinse it out, and my hair is now Jet black! it is nowhere near the nice brown shade on the box. I now have a lengthy, pricey and hair damaging treatment process ahead of me to try and strip the colour from my hair and get it back to some sort of brown colour.

No, I don’t recommend this product.

My hair was soft.

This color should be pulled as it is not a dark brown! It turned my hair a blue black with no highlights at all and my gray came back after one week. I threw my box and the receipt away as I now have to go to the hair salon to go back to my natural color.

No, I don’t recommend this product.

Love this product

I used to pay hundreds of dollars every other month to keep my hair an extra light blonde. When I finally got brave enough to try the root touch up, I was amazed with the results. I used the lightest shade 10 and it matches my hair perfectly. Since then I've been rotating between the bottles color in either shade 9.5 or 10, depending on whichever the store I'm shopping in has in stock and shade 10 root touch up. My hair is blonde. Not orange or brassy. I do use a tone correcting shampoo and treatment to keep if from getting brassy, but the color is amazing. I will never pay big bucks for blonde hair again.
