Fantastic coverage!

I have a very hard time getting rid of my brassy color (from dying my hair red in the past). I had tried using so many different "cool" hair colors to hide it, but the brass still shined through. With the brass-free colors by Natural Instinct, it completely ELIMINATED my brassiness! My only complaint was that because its semi-permanent color, in about 4 weeks, the color faded and my brass was beginning to show again, but it was at least gone for a long while! :)

Yes, I recommend this product.

OMG

I have been in the business for 15 years and have always had proffesional haircolor. I would get my hair colored for free and that was great. But they could never give me the true brown I wanted without the red showing up. Now that I have to do it myself this is the best. There is no red which I have always had a problem with. I will be using this to color my hair from now on.

I LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this color!!! I use the semi permanent colors (because I want the option of going "natural" when I want to without a permanent line) but end up getting "golden" or "red" tones because I haven't seen options like this before. It matches my natural color almost perfectly! With ash colors being so hard to find I'm asking.....DON"T stop making this! This has to be the best color (and :) worth my 1st review) I've found that I can do myself and I will keep buying it as long as you make it! PS...did I mention how much I love, love, love this color? :)

My Favorite of all the Natural Instintcts offerings

6.5 Always comes out beautifully - though given the stubborness of my grays, I leave it on at least 45 minutes. Never had a problem!

Color Fresh Revitalizer

I love Natural Instincts overall and have used it for many years, but I wish you would go back to the larger tube of follow up conditioner and skip the Color Fresh Revitalizer. The Revitalizer turns my hair ORANGE! Am I the only one with this problem?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Helping me go natural

Probably not what you want to hear -but I have decided it's time to let my silver shine. Growing it out was surely going to be "painful" with the roots glaring. Argghhh! But I was able to find a color that has been a good blend and light enough to allow the roots to begin showing without the "argghhh" look. I'm about 6 weeks into the process and as my silver grows out and cutting helps to complete the elimination of Permanant Color, I will be able to show off my genuine "crown of glory."

Yes, I recommend this product.

No more brass

I started getting my hair colored at a salon two years ago. It was colored a light caramel brown. I liked it, but sometimes it looked orangey/brassy. My hair is normally dark brown and I like it to look a little lighter. My sporadic grays always started showing 3 weeks into my salon color so I decided to try it on my own and save myself about $50 a month. I first tried Natural Instincts Toasted Almond 20 but it made my hair slightly brassy/red. To be honest, I probably used too light a shade and it made my caramel coloring show through as brassiness. It also faded in 3 weeks. I tried Brass Free 6C Light Brown and it does the job. It is a little darker than I like right now, but I just colored it and expect it to fade nicely. The most important thing to me is that I have NO BRASSINESS. So until I am brave enough to take the next step to Nice and Easy in a lighter brown shade, I will continue to buy this product.
